This dinner event pays tribute to all Veterans of all wars. We provide as many free meals to our St. Cloud Veterans as possible through the generous donations of corporate tables at this event. During this event there will be a presentation of Colors, 21-gun salute, and T.A.P.S.
We have two guest speakers this year. Lieutenant General (retired) Mark Hertling, DBA and Colonel (retired) Calvin Wimbish.
Lieutenant General (retired) Mark Hertling served for 38 years in the US Army as a tanker and cavalryman, serving at every level from tank platoon leader on the East-West German border to Commander of the 7th Army. He retired in December 2012, after serving as the Commanding General of US Army, Europe (USAREUR), where he led over 60,000 soldiers and partnered with the Armies of 51 nations.
Colonel Calvin Wimbish is a Christian, Conservative, Constitutionalist, retired “Green Beret”, Aviator, Infantry-Paratrooper, and Military Intelligence Officer with over 33 years of active, guard and reserve before accepting several Title 10 combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. After retiring, returned to Afghanistan as a military contractor in Afghanistan. Along this journey when on reserve and guard status, built a successful career as a corporate manager in information systems, manufacturing, production inventory control, logistics, sales, and marketing with several Fortune 100 corporations and taught 5 years as a high school J.R.O.T.C. instructor.
