October 24th Representative Paula Stark will be bringing together the City of St. Cloud, Osceola County, Metroplan, CFX and more to present a multidisciplinary overview of the transportation future for St. Cloud and surrounding areas. This free event will take place in the St. Cloud Community Center at 3101 17th Street, St. Cloud, FL 34769.
Gary Huttmann will be presenting on behalf of Metroplan Orlando providing attendees with a regional overview. Huttmann is the executive director of Metroplan Orlando and is responsible under federal and state laws for transportation planning in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties. He has worked in the transportation industry in Central Florida for over 30 years.
For the county update Tawny Olore, P.E. will be presenting. She currently serves as Osceola County’s Deputy County Manager. Ms. Olore is responsible for the oversight and management of the Transportation & Transit, Public Works, Communications, Human Services, and Information Technology departments.
David Tomek will be presenting on behalf of the City of St. Cloud. Tomek has more than 38 years of public service, having served in Fort Myers, Maitland, and St. Charles, MO. He most recently served as the Community Development Administrator for Osceola County, where he oversaw the Planning and Design, Code Enforcement and Zoning, Development Review, Building, GIS, Parks and Public Lands, and Sports Facility and Events divisions.
Other entities such as CFX will be on panels or available for one-on-one conversation with residents immediately following the presentation.
