Head to downtown St. Cloud this summer to read through children’s stories posted in our local business’ windows. This program runs throughout the summer so be sure to check out all 8 books.
Book pages are posted on Monday for visitors to read throughout the week. Join us on designated Saturdays to meet the author, participate in costume contest where you could win tickets to the St. Cloud Twin, enjoy a treat from our host business, and be entered into a drawing to win tickets to Wild Florida for attending all 8 events. The first 20 families at each event will receive a free copy of that week’s book.
This week join us at 3Beez Honey at 10:30 a.m. to meet author Sherry Leonard.
Sherry Leonard is a wife, mother, grandmother (Gee) and educator. She lives in Florida with her husband of 25 years. Sherry spent 20 years in education: 9 years in Elementary grades K-3 and the last 11 in middle school, first as a Language Arts teacher in grades 6-8 and currently Dean of Students. It was a dream of Sherry’s to become an author and “The Noodle That Lost Her Swirls” is her first published book. The inspiration came to her as she watched her then teenage son making a pot of mac-e-cheese in the kitchen. Sherry twirled around as she normally does and the BOOM – The Noodle That Lost Her Swirls was born. Sherry hopes to publish many more books – all around the theme of friendship!
