Historic preservation consultant, Christine Dalton, AICP, will outline the City of St. Cloud’s processes and approach to historic preservation, historic resources, and potential funding opportunities for building rehabilitation. This information is especially useful for owners of historic buildings, business owners within the historic district, and realtors working within St. Cloud’s historic district.

Dalton is an adjunct professor of historic preservation at the New York School of Interior Design, Rollins College, and Seminole State College. She was the Community Planner and the Historic Preservation Officer for the City of Sanford for more than a decade. She serves on the boards of the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation and the American Planning Association, Metro Orlando section and has won awards from both organizations. She is experienced in conducting historic structures surveys and lives in the Orlando area.
